Administrative Office Assistant (Part-Time)
Hours:
Monday-Friday
9:00am-2:30pm
Purpose of Position:
To help run and maintain the functions of Living Word as a church and an organization.
Responsibilities:
Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing.
Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.
Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as attendance records, correspondence, or other material.
Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, or reports, such as presentations or expense, statistical, or monthly reports.
Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail or other materials and answer routine letters.
Coordinate conferences, meetings, or special events, such as luncheons or graduation ceremonies
Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.

Must demonstrate a stable, mature Christian walk, reflecting the fruit of the Spirit.
Must have a passion for supporting the church's vision and submitting to its leadership.

Qualifications: (Experience)
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Writing — Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively.
Time Management — Managing one's own time and the time of others.
Interacting with Computers — Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships — Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time
Social Media Manager/Content Creator (Part-Time)

Monday-Friday9:00am-2:30pm
Purpose of Position:
To provide information and create content for Living Word's various social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
Create content and upload for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram & Twitter) that reflects the vision of the church and overall aesthetic
Manage and upkeep the church website (updating announcements, pages, etc.)
Manage and upkeep of church marquee (posting important information, announcements, updates, etc.)
Manage and upkeep of Church App (posting important information, announcements, livestreams, updates, etc.)
Work with church administration team and church leadership for support
Qualifications: (Character)

Qualifications: (Experience)
1-2 years experience managing various social media platforms for a church, business or major corporation
Experience with Creator Studio and Hootsuite (or other social media posting/scheduling platforms)
Experience with Microsoft Word and other Microsoft applications, Canva (or other graphic design platforms) and Adobe Photoshop (or other Adobe applications)
Experience with photography/DSLR cameras is a plus
Ability to learn new technology quickly
