E.D.G.E. (Every Day giving everything)

The vision for the Singles Ministry at Living Word is to have a group of sanctified, talented, anointed, righteous single believers who are totally committed to God and His Word and living an overcoming and victorious life in Jesus Christ. We want each single to know their purpose in God, know the importance of intimacy with God and know that they are a unique and valuable person selected by God to be used in the advancement of His kingdom, especially in these end times.

The Singles Ministry is a ministry dedicated to the development of maturity, character, integrity, and stability in the lives of single individuals at Living Word. We are not a dating service. We aim to assist the singles of LWIM-C in learning how to seek God first! We stress holiness as a lifestyle before God and wholeness as a must for a victorious life in Christ. Our method for achieving this is through teaching the Word of God, praying and fellowshipping with other singles in the body of Christ.

The E.D.G.E. Ministry’s main objective is to produce single individuals who live a lifestyle in direct contrast to the world’s concept of a single person. We aspire to be a people whose delight is in the law of the Lord, who are willing to demonstrate to the world that being single yet whole in the Lord is a delight and not a drudgery. Our primary focus is to please the Father and to be complete in Christ in order to be adequately prepared to fulfill the purpose God has for our lives. Secondly, our objective, in conjunction with church fellowship, is to edify one another by encouraging personal growth and development in the word of God and in the local body.

The mission of the Single’s Ministry is to lead the unsaved to Jesus Christ, encourage Christians to consecrate themselves to God’s purpose in their lives, provide the climate in which personal spiritual growth and worship occurs, equip believers for effective ministry, reach our community and beyond, affirm adults who are single by choice or by circumstances as worthwhile people, develop a more effective outreach to the growing number of single adults in our church and community, help fulfill Christ’s commission by sharing the Gospel with every segment of our community and to meet the unique needs of the single adults who want spiritual growth, healing opportunities and social fellowship.

Singles Gatherings are every 1st Friday of every other month at 7:00pm (currently held on Zoom).
